Johannes Ramm is the new Managing Director for finance, controlling and human recources

Continuity and future orientation - Bals announces change in management

A new addition has been made to the senior management at Bals Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG. The family company today announced that, on 24 June 2016, the shareholders appointed the long-standing company officer with statutory authority Mr Johannes Ramm to the position of Managing Director alongside Managing Partner Wolfgang Bals.

Wolfgang Bals represents the second generation of his family in leading the globally active company. In 53-year-old Johannes Ramm, he now has an experienced co-Managing Director at his side. Mr Ramm has worked for Bals since August 1979, serving as a company officer with statutory authority since January 1995. "With his expertise, entrepreneurial foresight and outstanding talent for both human and fact-led leadership, Mr Ramm has already significantly contributed to the success of our company in the past. I am very much looking forward to our management partnership," said Wolfgang Bals. While Johannes Ramm is now responsible for finance, controlling and human resources, Wolfgang Bals has responsibility for the areas of sales, marketing and production.

The appointment of Johannes Ramm as Managing Director coincides with the transition to a younger management tier at Bals. He thus ensures that the group of companies, whose beginnings date back almost 60 years, will benefit from a degree of continuity and solidity for the future.
